No matter what the weather and river conditions are you will always be guaranteed that your valuable leisure time will be fully used for maximum enjoyment.

When salmon are running we will ensure that you have the best opportunity of catching fish by taking you to the prime taking spots at the time, based on our own experience and reports from the river. When conditions are not so favourable there are equally interesting alternative to choose from, such as brown trout fishing in the upper reaches of the Suir or bass fishing in the harbour.

Should you like to use our guiding services, again there are a wide range of options available for you to choose from. Philip Maher has the highest Fly Fishing Federation and Association of Professional Angling Instructors qualifications and is able to provide expert tuition in guiding, casting and fly-tying. We also have our own ghillies that are able to stay with you to provide assistance and advice during your day’s fishing.

All the fishing equipment and consumables that you may need are available from our own tackle shop and if you need anything unusual this can normally be obtained overnight from our suppliers.

For your comfort, on most of our beats there is vehicular access to the bank side, so your tackle is always on hand when there is a need to change tactics, or for when you need refreshments. All fishing locations are in areas of outstanding beauty and tranquillity – all that you could possibly need for a relaxing day’s fishing.

Payment Terms

A 30% deposit is required to secure your reservation with the balance payable on arrival.
Payment can be made by cheque or credit card.
Deposits are refunded (less 10% cancellation fee) if written notification is received at least 2 calendar months prior to the arrival date. Thereafter deposits are not refunded.
We strongly urge clients to carry travel insurance to protect against the costs of unexpected changes in circumstances.

Make the most of your time with us

There is nothing quite as nice as a bank-side barbecue and we can organise this for you and your party of friends, to round off your day’s fishing. We can also provide a chauffeuring service if you need it, help for people with physical difficulties or teach children to fish. Tell us what your needs are and we will do our best to cater for them.

And it doesn’t stop there. We have the latest equipment and our own facilities to keep you entertained with many other outdoor, hunting and fishing related activities such as:- clay-pigeon shooting, pistol and rifle target shooting, fly-casting tuition and fly-tying demonstrations. Or if you just want a day off there are mountains, rivers, the sea or wonderful countryside to see.
