Guided Fishing

We provide a range of packages for discerning anglers, focusing on our own exclusive and private fisheries on the Rivers Suir and Blackwater in South Eastern Ireland. There is a wide variety of angling to choose from, ranging from flyfishing for trout in small wild streams to fishing from a kayak to large brown trout (2kg plus). Salmon fishing is available in the picturesque River Suir and Blackwater Valleys.

Guided fishing (trout and salmon) is available for ½ day or a full day, and we offer a number of options for the visiting angler, which can include pick up from airport, arranging car hire and accommodation from a tent to a 5 star hotel depending on what is requested by the client.

Tackle hire is also available and the rod included is either a Sage,Hardy,G-loomis or an Orvis outfit. There are waders from size 5 to 14 and gortex rain jackets. If you want to bring your own gear then there is no problem – there is a drying room facility on site to store them for you during your stay. Tackle hire prices can vary depending on your requirements.

We also give fly tying exhibitions in the evenings and talks on entomology of the local river. This is normally carried out over a nice bottle of Irish Whiskey or tea should you prefer a clear head in the morning.

Permits on the beats for trout and for salmon depend on the water level and time of year.
